
Porsche has unveiled the new 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup which is based on the newly unveiled 911 GT3 RS version. The 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is powered by a new engine with a 0.2 liter capacity increase that develops 30 bhp more than the former version. The 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup hides under its hood a 3.8-litre six-cylinder horizontally-opposed engine that develops 450 bhp (331 kW) and is coupled with sequential 6-speed manual gearbox. The new 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup weighs 1,200 kg (2,646 lb).
Also like the 911 GT3 RS, the 2010 GT3 Cup features a 1.73-inch wider body, wider front wheel arches, three-piece light-alloy wheels and front body panels from its street-legal sibling.
